After 25 years in business we have decided to move on to the next adventure. WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING ORDERS FOR BAGS. After announcing our plans back in July 2023, we kept orders open through late December and we are completely booked until summer 2024. The bags that started it all. Back in 1998, Roland and Ellie created the “Courier”, at the time our only model, and what is now known as the XL Messenger. As our customer base grew, it became apparent we would need to re-imagine the original sling bag in a number of smaller sizes. In the decades that have passed, we’ve fine-tuned our Messengers to fit better, last longer, and be even more versatile than ever before. Heavyweight, 2” wide velcro keeps the main flap closed, while lengthy straps emerge from the base of the bag should you require extra security via quick release buckles. Not using the straps? They can be clipped out of the way, underneath the lip of the bag. A removable, quick release waist strap doubles as an adjustable sternum/ anti-sway strap when worn across the body.
For those that may not be riding with the bag, and/or do not intend to have the bag cinched tightly across their body, we offer the ease of our Casual Strap. It's made with soft seat belt webbing, and adjusts via a simple slide lock (similar to most other "normal" non-bike-specific shoulder bags). We still include the waist/sternum strap so that you can keep the bag from swaying around on your back should you decide to ride a bit with it. And we'll set the bag up for either your left or right shoulder.
Inside the bag, you can leave all of the space for large cargo, or you can get specific about exactly where you want your stuff. Some will love our big, open tri-pockets, while others will appreciate the extra security and pen slots offered on the organizer pocket. Add a rear inside pocket if you’re thinking of taking a laptop along for the ride (The Small will fit up to 13”, while the Medium fits up to 15” laptops). Upgrading to a Brightline reflective strip above the base packs nighttime visibility in a discreet little package.
