Ballistic nylon base*: Suggested reinforcement for messengers or anyone else who
might be dragging their bag across concrete on a daily basis.
Base compression straps*: Reduces the size of the bag for smaller loads.
Double outside pockets*: Two huge 2" deep pockets spanning the body of the bag. Pockets and
flaps are lined and waterproof. Keep a lot of stuff, keep it separate, and keep all of your bag's inside cargo space
for just that - cargo.
Organizer pocket
Messenger pad*: An integrated shoulder pad that softens not only the strap,
but also the corner of the bag that sits on your shoulder. Completely radio holder-compatible, and movable. So when you
have a box in your bag and the strap is all the way out, your radio won't be somewhere over your shoulder. Good stuff.
Angled main straps: Quite a while ago we realized that under some circumstances, large loads would cause the bags
to roll up on our backs. So we angled the 2" main strap to keep the bag comfy and flat on your back no matter
what's in it. A simple fix that works wonders.
Strap keeper buckles*: Click your flap straps in these when you're not using 'em, and they won't hang down in
your wheel.
Inside pocket: 16"W x 11"H. Velcro closure with a pull-tab to make things easier.
Removable waist strap/sternum strap*: As a waist strap, takes weight off your back. As a sternum strap,
keeps the bag from shifting on your back. Does triple duty as a tie-down/flap extender for oversized packages.
D-rings*: Ever tried to adjust a two-inch nylon strap in the middle of the winter
while wearing two pairs of gloves? Then you'll appreciate these: A big 'ol, easy-to-grab pair of metal d-rings. One
for tightening, one for loosening.
